Announcement of Election Results

 

On September 28th, the Annual General Meeting of the APBU Part II was held in Bandeen Hall.  Thankfully quorum was formed thereby allowing for the elections of April 28th to be ratified and allowing for the election of positions that had received no nominations last spring.

1)The results of the ratification votes are as follows:

 

For the Executive

President:  Jean Manore                                1st Vice President:  Claire Grogan

2nd Vice President:  Catherine Tracy             3rd Vice President: Gary McCormick

4th Vice President:  Chad Gibbs                    5th Vice President: Daron Westman

Chief Negotiations Officer for the staff unit:  James Sweeny

Chief Negotiations Officer for the academic bargaining units: Michele Murray

 

For the non-Executive positions:

For the Staff Negotiations Issues Committee (3 Staff): Anna Grant; (missing 2 other staff representatives)

For the Faculty Negotiations Issues Committee (3 Faculty, 1 Librarian): Layachi Bentabet; Rebecca Harries; Steven Woodward; Lorraine Smith

For the Contract Faculty Negotiations Issues Committee (3 Contract Faculty):  Gordon Barker, Daron Westman, Caroline Viens

For the Faculty Negotiations Team (2 Faculty, 1 Librarian): Gary McCormick; Missing 2 Faculty representatives

For the Contract Faculty Negotiations Team (2 Contract Faculty): Caroline Viens; Daron Westman

For the Staff Stewards Council:  Cheryl Porter.  No other nominations were received for the council.
